When the waters cool the marlin
gradually leave, and are replaced by vast shoals of
big-eye tuna, blue fin tuna and albacore. From January to May, we regularly catch Big-eye tuna of over 250
lbs.
The
fishing area is about 20 minutes from the Funchal Marina,
where you can practise:

Game Fishing: Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Big Eye Tuna, Blue
Fin Tuna, Albacore, Bonito, etc.
Inshore Fishing:
Wahoo, Amberjack, Barracuda, Dolphin Fish, etc.
Shark Fishing:
Blue Shark, Hammerhead Shark, Mako Shark, etc.
Bottom Fishing:
Sea Bream, Red Snapper, Grouper, etc
